It's not too early to start thinking about child care for the fall.

       A limited number of contracted EEC slots are also available.

Collectively, YMCAs are the largest provider of childcare in the United States. YMCA Southcoast has twelve licensed child care programs with certified professional staff serving over 500 children per day.

Preschool Child Care
YMCA preschool child care is licensed by EEC and designed to meet
the developmental needs of young children in caring & structured
environments. We provide experiences that enhance each child’s
cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative
development. Your child will participate in a variety of activities
such as music, arts & crafts, dramatic play, outdoor play &
educational basics.

Child Watch Babysitting
The Child Watch service is designed to accommodate children ages 3 months to 9 years for limited amounts of time (1-2 hours) while parents use the facility. There are limited openings for infants 3-6 months, so parents should call ahead to reserve space. A copy of the Child Watch Guidelines is available in the Child Watch room or at the Welcome Center at each of our three full facility YMCAs that offer this service:

Fee: $3/hr per child or you can purchase
a $20 card which is good for 10 hours.
