Shining Tides Preschool

The Shining Tides Preschool program creates an environment that provides stimulating and challenging experiences as well as independent opportunities for the children to make their own choices, giving them self-confidence and positive self-esteem. We believe children are individuals that need to be nurtured; along with support and understanding they can mature emotionally, socially physically and intellectually.

The goal of our program is for each child to construct their own understanding of the world, and have active involvement with appropriate materials, people and ideas. We achieve this goal by creating opportunities for planned activites, providing the appropriate materials, having designated spaces, and keeping a consistent daily routine.

The Shining Tides Preschool is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, our staff is Lead Teacher, CPR and First Aid certified. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
