Child Care

We believe the values and skills learned early are vital for the total development of the child.  That's why Child Care programming at the Y provides youth and teens with a safe and nurturing environment around caring adult role models.  Combining play with academics, the Y's after school program promotes creativity, a love for learning and emotional and character development.    We also fill gaps in schools and our community by offering enrichment through arts, music, physical education, sports and nutrition. 

With so many demands on today's families parents need all the suppport they can get.  That's why we are about more than looking after kids.  We nurture their development by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect & responsibility.

The Fall River YMCA Child Care Program is licensed by the EEC for children ages K-14.  We are open Monday - Friday after school until 6 pm.  Full day care is available during December, February and April vacations & on snow days.  Transportation is offered from most schools.
