YMCA Southcoast is committed to providing our staff associates with education and training that will not only benefit our association, but enrich their experience as well. It is our belief that a positive workplace environment and culture can be achieved by clarifying the behaviors and attitudes that are expected of all associates.
YMCA Southcoast Academy was created to meet our goal of creating informed associates and an environment of learning. Some courses offered are New Hire Orientation, Child Abuse Prevention, Listen First, Keys to Member Engagement, Excel, and more!
Additionally, associates with expertise in specific areas are encouraged to join the faculty of YMCA Southcoast Academy. Becoming a faculty member/trainer will allow you to enhance your professional skills, enrich your effectiveness in presenting, and gain knowledge for future growth within the Y organization.
